About Dr. Felice Gersh:
Dr. Gersh, a Board Certified OB/GYN also has the distinction to have graduated from the prestigious Fellowship in Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona School of Medicine. Created by Andrew Weil, MD in 2000, the Fellowship in Integrative Medicine has achieved international recognition as the leading integrative medical education program in the world.
Dr. Gersh has received her education and training at the most prestigious institutions. Her undergraduate degree was obtained at Princeton University where she graduated in only three years. She earned her medical degree at the University of Southern California, where she was recognized as the most accomplished woman medical student and was awarded entry into the prestigious medical honor society, Alpha Omega Alpha.
Subsequent to medical school, Dr. Gersh completed her residency at the renowned program at Kaiser Hospital in Los Angeles, where she won the Creog Award annually, recognizing her as the highest scoring resident across the entire nation. Since founding the Women’s Medical Group of Irvine, which was transformed years later into the current Integrative Medical Group of Irvine, Dr. Gersh has continued to gather numerous awards. She has received the Orange County Medical Association’s Physician of Excellence Award for the past dozen years, and the SuperDoctor of Southern California Award several times as well, most recently in 2014 and 2015. She has been honored with the Outstanding Faculty Award by the OB/GYN department at the University of Southern California, where she taught residents surgery as an attending staff and Assistant Clinical Professor for more than 12 years. Dr. Gersh has been involved in other philanthropic work, providing surgery to the uninsured indigent of Orange County, and being awarded the honor of being recognized as the outstanding volunteer surgeon.
Dr. Gersh is a sought-after speaker, on a number of medical topics, Dr. Gersh is also one of the most sought after lecturers on topics of women’s health, including for her expertise on Polycystic Ovary Syndrome. She often speaks around the nation at major medical conferences, as well as doing webinars, webcasts, and podcasts. Dr. Gersh also writes a series of monthly articles on the topic of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome which is read by women around the globe.
